The Saint Padre Pio Institute of Rochester, Inc. is a 501c3 not-for-profit organization, established in Rochester, New York to build a chapel to benefit the entire community.
We are collecting a huge number of testimonial from the people who had experienced the powerful intercession of St Padre Pio.
Padre Pio was born May 25, 1887 in Pietrelcina, Italy, a small country town located in southern Italy. His parents were Grazio Mario Forgione and Maria Guiseppa de Nunzio Forgione.
This coming Sunday the St. Padre Pio Chapel will celebrate St. Pio’s Birthday with a mass and lunch. The mass will be at 2 PM on Sunday, May 25th, 2014 with Fr. John Tokaz OFM Cap. Father is from St. James Church in Trumansburg, N.Y. and is a Capuchin Monk of the same order as St. Padre Pio.
After the mass there will be a lunch at the Italian American Community Center across the road from the chapel. There will be a $13.00 charge for the lunch.
All are welcome to attend.
